We are so glad you found us, and we can't wait to see what you think.
At Surge we strive to create a space for people to share their experiences as they are learning how to navigate the world. We look to support everyone that walks through the door (or who we meet through a zoom link). There is so much pressure and responsibility on young people today that we feel it is important to use this blog as a space to share tips, tricks, and insights more globally.
Special Interests
At Surge we are interested in working with a range of clients, however below are our specialised areas of interest.
Child or adolescent athletes - navigating high performance systems or organisations can be stressful. Learning how to manage the pressure of performing while still being a kid is of upmost importance.
Teams or groups of athletes - working within a team can be complicated. Every team is going to bring together a different group of individuals, creating unique dynamics. Learning how to work within a team is a skill for not only sport but also life.
Neurodiverse clients - clients diagnosed with ADHD and/or ASD struggling with executive functioning, navigating the world, or require specific skill building will find skills and strategies at Surge.
Parents - it can be stressful knowing what to do and how to do it as a parent. At Surge we are particularly focused in helping not only children perform or function better but the wider family unit as well.
Don't go anywhere, you won't want to miss this.
Our blogs are going to have the answers to many of the frequently asked questions we receive in practice. From questions about when to seek help, to knowing what to do during those stressful situations.
If you are looking for a psychologist for your child or adolescent - check out our available sessions via the Book Now button on our website.
